The past year has seen momentous changes in California and across the country. The passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in March 2010 fundamentally changed the landscape for meeting the needs of vulnerable older Americans. Embedded within the ACA are a range of new opportunities that, when taken together, provide the foundation for a more comprehensive, person-centered approach to long-term services and supports.
