Initiative: Community of Constituents in California

The Community of Constituents initiative is a statewide movement of over 500 member organizations with an additional 700 affiliated members, to transform the system of care, so that all Californians can age with dignity, choice and independence.  Member organizations include community-based organizations, aging and disability service and advocacy coalitions, as well as consumer and provider organizations representing millions of Californians at the local, regional and statewide levels to improve the health care and supportive services for older adults and people with disabilities.

Statewide - Consumer and provider organizations are working together as the California Collaborative for Long-Term Services and Supports (CCLTSS) to advance policy options to improve the system of care for older adults and adults with disabilities.
Regional - Eighteen regional aging and disability service and advocacy coalitions representing two-thirds of California’s counties and over 90 percent of the state’s population are working to improve both quality and access to care for older adults and adults with disabilities.
