Strategy 1.1.3 – Provide credible long-term care policy information for policy makers, advocates, opinion leaders, and the public
This Long-Term Care Scorecard project is co-funded by the Commonwealth Fund and builds on the previous feasibility study and Phase I activities funded by The SCAN Foundation and Commonwealth Fund between June 2009 and July 2010. This project will collect and analyze data in order to create a Scorecard built on indicators that reflect a high-performing long-term care system. Continuing to utilize the expertise of a National Advisory Panel and Technical Assistance Panel, this project will 1) field a survey across the states to gather information on long-term care not already collected publicly, 2) analyze survey data as well as publicly available data sources to populate indicators across the domains of a high-performing long-term care system, 3) produce a Scorecard ranking states across the domains, and 4) create an interactive website to house the Scorecard.
