On Tuesday, Jan. 17, Bruce Chernof, MD, president and CEO of The SCAN Foundation, publised his first blog for the Huffington Post titled, "A Window of Hope for Fixing Medicare." Chernof described how a new focus on person-centered care combined with structural payment reforms could benefit the program: "Simplistic rhetoric that Medicare is "broken" fails to diagnose where the real challenge lies in creating enduring financial stability for this critical program."
