TSF 2013 California Long-Term Services and Supports Summit Report
California’s system of long-term services and supports (LTSS) is in the midst of a significant transformation. On Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Sacramento Convention Center, The SCAN Foundation's 3rd Annual LTSS Summit engaged stakeholders from across California in a daylong discussion about this transformation occurring at both the state and local levels.
More than 300 stakeholders attended The SCAN Foundation’s 2013 California Summit on Transforming Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS), coming together to build a deeper understanding of the policies affecting LTSS transformation and the skills needed to advocate for a service system that promotes dignity, choice, and independence. Stakeholders heard from leaders in the federal government, state legislature and administration, the media, academia, and community members who provided an overview of the political, financial, and environmental realities of LTSS in California.
