Kali Peterson, MS, MPA
As a program officer at The SCAN Foundation, Kali Peterson brings both policy and programmatic experience in aging and long-term care to the Foundation. Her comprehensive knowledge of the continuum of care is rooted in geriatric case management, where she worked with older adults, their families and care providers to plan, strategize and organize client-centered long-term care service delivery. Ms. Peterson’s policy experience includes governance and policy analysis with the United Nation’s Department of Economic and Social Affairs. She also served as a policy analyst for the 2005 White House Conference on Aging, where she engaged in federal level policy formulation, public administration and strategic planning for the service delivery needs of aging Americans. Most recently, Ms. Peterson served as a project manager at the VA Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center implementing an evidence-based comprehensive fall prevention program in community senior centers.
Ms. Peterson holds a joint Master of Science in Gerontology from the USC Davis School of Gerontology and a Master of Public Administration from the USC Price School of Public Policy. She also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications at the University of California, Berkeley.
