The State of California intends to adopt a uniform and comprehensive assessment system for use in Medi‐Cal home‐ and community‐based services (HCBS) programs in the state. This analysis seeks to support California’s planned effort by providing information on the content of four selected states’ uniform assessment instruments for adults seeking community‐based long‐term services and supports (LTSS).
