Natalie King, MBA, MPA, is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for The SCAN Foundation.

Natalie has more than a decade of cross-sector health care experiences working with a variety of players across the U.S. health care ecosystem to help craft and execute data-driven strategies that position them for long-term success. Natalie’s areas of expertise include Medicaid and Medicare, value-based care, the social determinants of health, and community-based care.

Before joining The SCAN Foundation, Natalie worked at a strategy and innovation consulting firm, Innosight, where she advised leading health care companies as they explored strategic growth opportunities in the face of disruption. Prior to that, she worked for a nonpartisan health policy think tank where she led its aging portfolio and managed a statewide survey that measured trends in access to care and assessed the impact of health reforms. Natalie has also served as an independent consultant for a variety of clients on health care strategy, partnerships, and innovation (Easterseals, Denver Mayor’s Office, RapidSOS) and has conducted academic research on the drivers of success for payer-led social determinants of health initiatives.

Natalie received her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and her MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. She lives in Maine with her husband Warren and their dog Milo and is happiest when exploring the outdoors with the two of them.
