Our remarks focused on the urgent need to strengthen long-term services and supports for California’s “Forgotten Middle”—older adults who fall between eligibility for Medicaid and the ability to pay for care. This moment marked a critical opportunity to call for bold, equitable solutions that ensure all Californians can age with dignity, security, and choice.
