Jose Araujo is the Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at the SCAN Foundation. Jose has over ten years of experience in the financial and accounting industries with an emphasis in healthcare and nonprofit auditing. Jose’s passion for the advancement of health equity in aging stems from assisting with the care of his elderly grandparents who continue to live independently to this day.
Jose is a licensed CPA in the state of Louisiana. He earned his Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and his bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Liberal Arts from the University of New Orleans. In his free time he enjoys biking, hiking, scuba diving, and traveling with his wife and two standard poodles.
