CBO-Health Care Partnerships

New ways of paying for care have increased the options and improved the landscape for delivering services.

Community-based organizations (CBOs) play a central role in delivering daily living support through collaborations with the health care sector.

Staying in Community

Most older people want to remain independent and in their homes and communities regardless of the daily challenges they encounter. CBOs can provide valuable daily living support to older adults with complex needs, making their vision a reality.

The Aging and Disability Business Institute helps CBOs build and strengthen partnerships with the health care system, so both sectors can provide high-quality, comprehensive support to those with complex needs.

Training Tools for CBOs

In partnership with the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York, we developed a series of online training modules for CBOs to build their business acumen. This toolkit for CBOs allows them to value and price their services for partnerships with health care payers.
