Eric Thai is Director of Finance and Mission Impact Investments for The SCAN Foundation. He is responsible for managing the Foundation’s accounting, finance, and investment functions. He also leads the Mission Impact Investment program, which utilizes investments to further the Foundation’s mission. Eric joined the Foundation in 2011 from the SCAN Health Plan, where he conducted operational audits as a Senior Internal Auditor. He has also worked as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP. He has experience in various industries including: medical device, health care services, not-for-profit, manufacturing, retail, and asset management.
Eric holds a Masters of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with a Minor in Accounting from UCLA. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California. Eric enjoys mountain biking, basketball, and traveling the outdoors with his family in his self-built camper van.
